Your local children’s hospice
Chestnut Tree House is the only children’s hospice in Sussex. We provide care across East and West Sussex for children and young people with life-limiting and life threatening illnesses. We provide a home from home environment where families can take a break and spend precious time together. The house is a place of love, understanding, caring, fun, laughter, hope, friendship, and, yes, sometimes sadness. Most of all it’s a place for living life to the full.
It costs £2.5 million each year to provide the hospice care services, and families are never charged for their care. We receive very little government funding and have to raise 90p in every £1.
